Dr. Jan Tepe is a native of Canton, Ohio, and graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in art. After oral surgery in college, she was inspired to go into the field of dentistry and became a dental hygienist before attending dental school at The Ohio State University. Jan graduated from dental school summa cum laude and is a member of the honorary societies Sigma Phi Alpha and Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After graduation, she worked for five years with the Procter and Gamble Company doing dental research. She left that job to spend more time with her children and return to private practice. Jan has practiced with Larry since 1989. In addition to private practice, she works one day a week as a clinical instructor at the Ohio State University, College of Dentistry. Jan is married to Larry and together they have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Their son, Adam, is in marketing and lives with his wife, Mary, and daughter, Ava, in Columbia, South Carolina. Their daughter, Rachel, is also part of Tepe Family Dentistry.
